Engine Diagnostics

Engine diagnostics is the process of using specialised tools and software to assess a vehicle’s engine and other electronic systems. It helps identify issues related to performance, efficiency, and emissions before they become major problems.

How It Works:

1. OBD-II Scanner – Modern vehicles have an On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) system, which stores error codes when a fault is detected.
2. Code Reading – A diagnostic tool reads these codes (e.g., P0300 for a misfire).
3. Analysis – Mechanics interpret the codes and check related components like sensors, fuel injectors, or the ignition system.
4. Repairs & Testing – Once the issue is identified, repairs are made, and another scan ensures the problem is fixed.

Common Issues Found in Engine Diagnostics:

✅ Check Engine Light Problems
✅ Fuel System Issues
✅ Ignition Coil or Spark Plug Failures
✅ Oxygen Sensor Malfunctions
✅ Exhaust & Emission Problems
